Zig Zag airlines is a small but exclusive airline operation. The
flights are performed under own or chartered airline operator's
certificates. Therefore, Zig Zag airlines operates under the same
aeronautical regulations as any other major airline. In addition,
flight crews have to meet airline standard qualifications and have
to comply with applicable regulations. Zig Zag airlines takes pride
in selecting flight crew members that do not just meet these
requirements, but also, have the extra dedication to their job that
makes them exceed normal standards. The aircraft operated by Zig Zag
Airlines are maintained and inspected in accordance with the
administrator's requirements. Our aircraft might be modified to
accommodate certain mission profiles and offer extra leg room to
comply with our club class standards.
Zig Zag Airlines is an exclusive operator that caters to the
individual. We offer a variety of destinations and trips which from
time to time are changed. Our most exciting routing is the flight
around the globe, our RTW, around the world trip. Our adventure
trips are not as long as the RTW flight, however, incorporate
exciting themes and destinations. Our airplanes are also available
for charter for other airlines, vacation tour operators and groups.
Only upon receipt of all required approvals our flights booking
will be available on our website and through our travel partners. For flight reservations up to four weeks before
the departure, we charge a 20% deposit. The rest of the ticket price
will be invoiced four weeks before departure. Reservations for
flights within four weeks before the departure date have to be paid
in full. You can also book your flight by regular email to us. We
will send you a confirmation with an invoice attached. For
reservations through our worldwide travel partners, please follow
their instructions. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate
to contact us.
Our tickets are only valid on Zig Zag Airlines flights unless
otherwise stated in the terms for a particular flight. Deposits for
flight reservations are not refundable. If flights have been paid in
full and you can provide serious reasons to cancel, we will honor
your ticket value for a later flight based upon seat availability.
Children up to the age of two years travel for free. Children
between the ages of two through twelve years, are eligible for a 25%
discount. Our baggage allowance is 50 lbs per passenger in one or
more bags with a maximum of 62 linear inches of dimension. Carry on
items can consist of one bag with a maximum of 30 lbs plus a
personal item. We also transport extra baggage like sports gear and
other article upon request.
Zig Zag Airlines allows one name change for each ticket. If you
cancel your flight within four weeks before departure or miss your
flight, the ticket price will not be refundable. As a courtesy, we
will offer you a seat for the same routing at a later date upon a
seat availability. If you miss your flight for a flight segment
during one of our trips, you will need to make your own flight
arrangements to the next destination.
Four weeks before the departure date you will receive your
invoice for the remaining balance of the ticket price and a folder
with flight and routing information. The schedule is not flexible,
however, we are always interested in suggestions for future
routings. Our ticket prices for RTW tours include the flight,
airport fees and taxes. On very few occasions airports charge a
minimal departure tax direct to the passengers. For your travel you
can make your own transportation and hotel accommodation
arrangements. Zig Zag Airlines also offers a hotel package through
our participating travel partners, including transportation to and
from the airport.
